The mission of Christ Community Baptist Church is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) in making disciples of all nations by declaring the gospel, displaying the gospel, and defending the gospel to the glory of God and the eternal good of our neighbors.
In addition to the pulpit ministry of CCBC on Sunday and Wednesday, we seek to fulfill the Great Commission through a few specific ways:
1. Personal Evangelism
At CCBC we believe that every Christian should have one person their seeking to lead to Christ. One person that we are praying for, inviting to church, and looking for gospel conversation opportunities with. Imagine the impact if every Christian had one person they’re seeking to reach.
2. Prison Ministry
At CCBC we believe the prisons are ripe for harvest. The gospel is for everyone, and we want those behind bars to know there is forgiveness and spiritual freedom in Christ.
3. Blessing Bags
At CCBC we believe it is important to not only care for spiritual needs, but physical needs as well. As the temperature drops in the fall, we prepare bags with snacks, hygiene products, survival items, and gospel tracts for the homeless in our area.
4. Gospel Tracts (Paper Missionaries)
At CCBC we believe local festivals are an awesome opportunity to share the gospel with others. We do this by handing out bottles of water that have a gospel tract and church information attached.
